Protoocl Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a SEND School in Upminster. We are also recruiting for other schools in Havering!

Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in a school setting
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN
  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with personal care and physical needs as required
  • Monitoring and recording student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children or young people
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with children or young people in an educational setting/ after school clubs/ drama groups/ sports clubs/ coaching jobs

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

 Pay starts at £83.85 per day. You must be available to work Mon-Fri 8.30am - 3.30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
