An outstanding school is looking for an entry level support workers looking to progress in career supporting children with special needs.

The school is extremely well equipped and resourced, they have a entry level development programme providing training and accredited qualifications.

You will be working alongside children with ASC, SEMH, speech and language communication needs, sensory, cognition and learning needs. Therefore, the school are happy to consider staff from a range of professional backgrounds including those with experience in school settings and alternative provisions, Care backgrounds and those with experience of Health and Social Care qualifications.

Required Experience

• Must Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one

• Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments / learning difficulties

• Previous experience in working with SEN children required 

 • Supporting students to engage in lessons

• Managing challenging behaviours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
