What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering inspiring and creative English lessons across KS3-KS4
- Encouraging students to develop strong reading, writing and analytical skills
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback
- Playing a key role in the wider school community
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or PGCE in Secondary English
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for literature and language
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to motivate, engage and inspire a range of learners
- A proactive, flexible attitude and commitment to student achievement
