We’re working with a welcoming and well-run secondary school in Tower Hamlets that’s looking for a passionate English Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. The school has a strong community feel, supportive leadership, and students who respond well to engaging, confident teaching.

The role:
You’ll be teaching English across KS3 and KS4, delivering creative, well-structured lessons that build confidence, curiosity, and strong outcomes. There’s a collaborative department, shared resources, and plenty of room to make the role your own.

What the school is looking for:

  • UK QTS (essential)

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

  • Strong subject knowledge and a love for English

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

  • A reliable, reflective teacher who enjoys being part of a team
