About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and inspiring Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Middlesbrough. You’ll teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, bringing numbers to life through creative, engaging lessons that help every student feel confident tackling everything from algebra to angles.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons for KS3 & KS4.

Prepare students for GCSE exams, ensuring strong progress and achievement.

Contribute to the development of a stimulating and inclusive Maths curriculum.

Track and assess student performance, adapting teaching where needed.

Build a classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.

Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student success.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge across the Maths curriculum.

Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school.
-
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Desirable:
-
Experience teaching A-Level Maths or Further Maths.
-
Proven record of improving outcomes at KS4.
-
Enthusiasm for extracurricular Maths activities such as clubs or competitions.
