English Teacher (KS3–KS4)

£163 to £263 per day, PAYE — full-time

Your role

  • Deliver Literature and Language lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

  • Foster strong reading, writing and vocabulary development — helping bridge any literacy or aspiration gaps.

  • Work in a school with a broad curriculum, where English forms part of a rich, balanced offer including creative arts, sciences, and vocational options.

  • Encourage students’ voice, confidence and ambition both in and out of the classroom.

  • Has QTS (or equivalent) and a passion for English, literacy and student growth.

  • Believes in high expectations, structured lessons and positive, supportive relationships.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
