A new term is nearly here and our Leeds partner schools are on the lookout for a passionate English Teacher who can bring literature, language and real enthusiasm to the classroom. If you love helping students find confidence in their writing, voice and ideas, this January role could be a brilliant fit.

What you will be doing

Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4

Creating a calm, inclusive and purposeful classroom environment

Supporting students with varying needs and abilities

Encouraging strong analytical skills, confident writing and thoughtful reading

Working collaboratively with your department to raise achievement and inspire progress
What we are looking for

QTS or relevant teaching qualification

Experience teaching English in secondary schools

A confident communicator who can inspire curiosity and independence

Someone who builds positive relationships quickly

Organised, reflective and committed to helping students grow

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
