English Teacher (KS3–KS4)

Location: Northumberland, close to a historic market town with great transport links
Start date: ASAP
Pay: £163 to £263 per day (PAYE only)
Contract: Flexible supply or short-term cover

What you’ll be doing

  • Teaching English from Year 7 to Year 11 using pre-prepared plans

  • Leading lively discussions around texts, themes and ideas

  • Supporting students with reading, writing and analytical skills

  • Maintaining behaviour expectations using simple, clear routines
