We’re looking for an experienced English Teacher to join one of our brilliant secondary schools in Wolverhampton. You’ll bring your passion for literature, language, and learning—and we’ll handle the rest.
You’ll be teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, with the chance to make a real impact on students who need a little extra encouragement to reach their potential. If you’ve also worked as a tutor, even better—your one-to-one experience will make you a star at boosting confidence and tailoring support.
The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

Have recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school

Be confident planning engaging lessons that inspire and challenge

Be calm, adaptable, and committed to helping every student succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
