Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative English Teacher to join our exceptional team of educators. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons that captivate students' imaginations and foster a deep appreciation for literature, language, and communication.
- Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of students, ensuring that all learners are supported to achieve their full potential.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to express themselves, think critically, and develop their creativity and analytical skills.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them progress academically and develop their confidence and self-belief as writers, readers, and communicators.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the English curriculum, assessment practices, and extracurricular activities, ensuring that the department continues to deliver outstanding outcomes for students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English literature, language, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience teaching English at secondary level, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and achieving excellent outcomes for students.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English literature, language, and communication.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
