The role
We are working with a well-established secondary school with a strong academic focus to recruit an English Teacher for supply and long-term opportunities. The school places a strong emphasis on literacy, high expectations, and student achievement across KS3–KS5.
This role would suit a confident practitioner able to deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons while maintaining strong classroom routines.

Key responsibilities

Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience)

The ideal candidate

QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification

Strong subject knowledge in English Language and/or Literature

Confident classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
