What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering high-quality English teaching across KS3, KS4, and with a strong focus on KS5

Promoting student engagement and enthusiasm for English

Supporting high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour, and personal development

Contributing to departmental development, assessment practices, and curriculum improvement

Supporting subject-related enrichment, trips, and wider school activities

Acting as a form tutor and contributing to PSHE as part of the pastoral team

Hold UK QTS in Secondary English

Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for English

Understand how effective teaching drives pupil progress

Are confident using data to inform teaching and learning

Can plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons

Are able to inspire and motivate students of all abilities

Have strong communication skills and build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents

Are well organised, proactive, and able to manage workload effectively

Are confident using ICT in daily classroom practice
