The role
As an English Teacher, you will:

Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for suitable candidates)

Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that develop literacy, analysis, and communication skills
-
Differentiate effectively to support pupils of mixed abilities, including those with SEND
-
Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment
-
Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
-
Work collaboratively within a supportive department and wider staff team
This role is suitable for ECTs, experienced teachers, and those returning to the profession.
We’re looking for someone who:

Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)

Has experience teaching English in UK secondary schools

Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management

Is committed to inclusive practice and safeguarding

Is reliable, adaptable, and professional

Is happy to work PAYE, with clear and transparent pay
