Secondary English Teacher – Middlesbrough
We’re working with a well-established secondary school in Middlesbrough that serves a close-knit local community. The school has a strong pastoral focus, clear behaviour expectations, and a supportive English department that works closely together.
They’re looking for an English Teacher who can step confidently into KS3 and KS4 classes and keep learning moving in a calm, well-structured environment.
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay: £150–£200 per day
The role

Teaching English across KS3 and KS4

Delivering pre-planned lessons, with room to bring your own teaching style

Supporting pupils of mixed abilities

Working as part of a calm, supportive English department

Maintaining positive classroom routines and behaviour
You’ll suit this role if you

Hold UK QTS

Have experience teaching English in secondary schools

Are confident managing behaviour
