English Teacher Full Time
Protocol Education is recruiting for a passionate and dedicated KS3 and KS4 English Teacher to join a North Yorkshire school. The post will be for 1 term initially on a full time basis with the scope to extend beyond.

Applicant responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the individual needs of each student
- Encourage students to explore a diverse range of literary genres to enhance their writing skills
- Promote positive working environments, establishing bonds with both students and fellow colleagues to contribute to the overall development of students
- Managing classroom behaviour ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere
- Becoming a role model for students; Inspire students to be passionate about the subject through high quality, updated teaching methods, whilst maintaining a personable character
Applicants must:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent with relevant teaching experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education or a related field (Master’s desirable)
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Be able to provide a minimum of two references from previous teaching roles and all employment/education within the last 2 years
- Hold or be prepared to apply for an enhanced DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
