Company Overview: Protocol Education is seeking to recruit a dedicated English teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in the Nottinghamarea, starting in October 2024.

Role Overview:

You will be working within the school’s expansive English department, supporting students with a wide range of abilities, including a significant number of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching assigned classes and fostering a productive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Supporting students in their academic development and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing targeted support to address areas of improvement.

Requirements:

  • A PGCE, QTS, and a BA (Hons) in English.
  • Proven experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
  • A valid DBS check.
  • The right to work in the UK.
