Protocol Education is looking to recruit an English teacher to be based within one of our partnership secondary schools in the Newcastle area. This role is to begin September 2024.

The school is located just a short drive out of the city centre and is also accessiable via the metro line. You will be joining a welcoming and friendly team of staff. 

Your role will be based within the schools large English department supporting students with a range of abilities. The school also has a high population of SEND pupills.

The role:

  • Teaching assigned classes and creating a productive learning environment.
  • Planning and preparing engaging content for KS3 and 4 students.
  • Supporting students with their academic development.
  • Monitoring pupil’s progress and supporting them through their areas of development.


  • PGCE, QTS and a BA (Hons) English.
  • Experience teaching within a secondary school
  • Has a DBS
  • Has the right to work in the UK
