Protocol Education is looking to recruit an English teacher to be based within one of our partnership secondary schools in the Newcastle area. This role is to begin September 2024.

The school is located just a short drive out of the city centre and you would be joining a very supportive team of staff. They are a large school and have a high EAL population.

This is a long-term position and may result in perm contract.

The role:

  • Teaching assigned classes and creating a productive learning environment.
  • Planning and preparing engaging content for KS3 and 4 students.
  • Supporting students with their academic development.
  • Monitoring pupil’s progress and supporting them through their areas of development.

Requirements:

  • PGCE, QTS and a BA (Hons) English.
  • Experience teaching within a secondary school
  • Has a DBS
  • Has the right to work in the UK
