We are currently seeking a full-time (36 hours per week) Lecturer of English to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As a Lecturer in English at the school, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our learners. You will be a highly motivated, outstanding professional in your field, with a learner-centered approach. Your responsibilities will include teaching and assessing courses within the curriculum area and contributing to the development of both existing and new, innovative provisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and assess courses within the English curriculum, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Contribute to the development of innovative and motivational learning experiences, including blended and flexible learning approaches.
- Implement cost-effective teaching and learning styles to enhance the educational experience of our students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of a Level 5 Subject Specialism in English or equivalent, along with a recognized teaching qualification.
- Recent, relevant, and successful teaching experience in functional skills and English, spanning from Entry Level to Level 2. Preferably within a Further Education college.
- Evidence of recent teaching and assessment in delivering functional skills English programs, with a proven track record of successful delivery within the English discipline.
