What the role involves as an English Teacher

You’ll teach English Language across KS3 and KS4, supporting pupils with reading, writing, analysis and communication. Lessons will blend creativity with core skills, helping pupils to develop confidence and accuracy.

Your responsibilities as an English Teacher

  • Delivering structured, purposeful English Language lessons
  • Supporting pupils with exam skills and written expression
  • Encouraging discussion, debate and independent thinking
  • Providing constructive feedback to support progress
  • Working closely with the English department

  • QTS and experience teaching English Language

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
