What you’ll be doing

Supporting pupils with additional needs during English lessons and across the school day

Helping learners develop reading, writing, communication, and confidence

Working 1:1 and in small groups to scaffold learning and keep pupils engaged

Using creative approaches, structured guidance, and clear communication to make English accessible

Collaborating with teachers and support staff to create a calm, encouraging environment
Who we’re hoping to find

A recent English graduate, or someone with strong literacy skills and a real interest in SEND

Patient, warm, and great at building positive relationships with pupils

Someone who enjoys explaining ideas clearly and celebrating small steps of progress

A team player who’s ready to support wherever needed and bring calm energy to the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
