Are you an English graduate who loves language, literature, and helping others find their voice?
We’re looking for enthusiastic graduates to join our partner schools across Newcastle as Learning Support Assistants, supporting pupils to build confidence and succeed in their learning.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience while using your subject knowledge to make a real difference. You’ll support pupils who need an extra boost with reading, writing, and communication skills, and help create an environment where every student can thrive.
What you’ll be doing:

Providing 1:1 and small group literacy support

Helping pupils develop reading confidence and comprehension

Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities

Encouraging positive engagement and participation in learning
What we’re looking for:

A degree in English or a related subject

A passion for education and supporting young people

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
