We are seeking a passionate individual to join our dynamic team as an English Graduate Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the English Department, enrich the learning experience of our students, and contribute to a vibrant academic environment.

 

Responsibilities:

Assist the English Department in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

Provide personalized support to students in their learning journey, both inside and outside the classroom.

Help create and organize educational materials and resources.

Conduct one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to enhance student learning.

Assist with the grading of assignments and exams.

Actively participate in department meetings and school events.

Collaborate effectively with teachers and students to foster a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

A degree in English or a related field.

A genuine passion for English literature, language, and education.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work cohesively with educators and students.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Right to work in the UK.

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to cultivate positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.

Demonstrated dedication to education and personal development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
