We are working with a two-form entry primary school in Gateshead with approximately 340 pupils, known for its strong pastoral care and structured behaviour approach. The school places a strong emphasis on understanding pupil wellbeing and emotional development, making it an excellent environment for a Psychology graduate starting their ECT journey.

They are seeking an ECT to teach a Year 3 class, working alongside an experienced parallel teacher and SENCO who provides regular guidance.

The Role:

• Teaching a Year 3 class

• Planning and delivering structured lessons

• Supporting pupils’ emotional and academic development

• Working closely with the SENCO and year group lead
