We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Newham that’s on the lookout for an Economics teacher who knows their subject and enjoys bringing it to life in the classroom. The department is supportive, the students are curious, and the leadership team genuinely backs their staff.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Teaching Economics at KS4 and KS5

  • Delivering clear, engaging lessons that build confidence and exam success

  • Supporting students to understand the real-world impact of Economics

  • Working alongside a friendly, collaborative humanities team

What the school is hoping for:

  • UK QTS (or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching Economics in a secondary setting

  • A calm, confident classroom presence

  • Someone who enjoys their subject and passes that enthusiasm on

  • Must have a Enhanced DBS on update service, or willing to apply for one.
