Whether you're after a long-term role with a brilliant nursery class or want the flexibility of choosing your working days, we’ve got Early Years Teaching Assistant opportunities across Merton that tick both boxes.
Join our team and support children aged 3–5 as they explore the world through play, curiosity, and the occasional glitter-storm. You’ll be the steady, supportive presence that helps them grow in confidence and joy.
We’ve got two pathways for you:
Long-term placements – consistent roles in nursery or reception settings where you’ll be part of the school community.
Daily supply – pick your days, bring your EYFS magic, and enjoy the variety of working across different schools.
You’ll be:

Supporting play-based learning and child-led activities

Building lovely, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

Helping with early reading, routines, and SEND support when needed

Bringing patience, energy, and creativity every day
We’re looking for people who:

Have experience working with EYFS-aged children
-
Understand the EYFS framework
-
Are adaptable, positive, and great with little ones
-
Are Thrive trained (or happy to complete our free training!)

Hold a DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
