Protocol Education is on the lookout for a nurturing, hands-on Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our supply team in Leeds. You’ll be supporting children in Nursery and Reception across a warm, welcoming primary setting—helping them grow in confidence, curiosity and independence every single day.
This role is full of variety and joy. You’ll be creating positive learning experiences, supporting early development milestones, and working alongside teachers to give every child the best possible start. From phonics to painting, there’s never a dull moment!
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting play-based learning and early literacy/numeracy activities

Helping children build social skills and confidence in the classroom

Assisting with daily routines and classroom organisation

Creating a safe, supportive and fun learning environment
What we’re looking for:

Experience supporting children in Early Years (nursery or reception)

A warm, patient and encouraging approach
-
Someone who enjoys being creative, hands-on and part of a team
-
Ideally, experience supporting children with additional needs (SEN)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
