Early Years Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or Nursery Assistant looking for a new challenge.

I am currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse to join the Nursery of a Primary school in Barnsley, close to the Town centre. Initially the position is for an ASAP start for the rest of the academic year with the potential for extension leading to a permanent contract for the right person.

You will be working with an experienced Teacher and a friendly Early Years team to provide outstanding education and support to the newest additions to this fantastic Primary academy.

You will need to have good working knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and have experience of conducting observations and interventions ideally within Nursery or EYFS in a similar setting, however the school are open to Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Nursery Assistants or Nursery Nurses.

Ideally this experience will be from your most recent employment/s as we will need to gain satisfactory references as well as a DBS registered to the online update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
