Early Years Teacher Vacancy in Hounslow

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Early Years Teacher to join a Hounslow Primary School. As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education and care to young children.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, specializing in Early Years Education
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Previous experience working as an Early Years Teacher
  • Excellent understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
  • Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
  • Creativity and enthusiasm in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities
  • Understanding of assessment and record-keeping within the EYFS framework

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for early years children
  • Creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment
  • Assessing children's progress and providing feedback to parents/guardians
  • Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to child development
  • Monitoring and promoting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Supporting children's transition to primary school
  • Communicating effectively with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress
  • Keeping up-to-date records of children's achievements and maintaining observation and assessment records
