Location: Southwark, London
Salary: £34,500–£44,000 per year (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 2026 (or sooner if you're ready!)

We’re working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Southwark that’s on the lookout for a fantastic Early Years Teacher to lead their lovely Reception class.

This is your chance to create a classroom full of stories, songs, and those unforgettable “lightbulb” moments.

What the role involves:

  • Teaching a Reception class within a well-established EYFS team

  • Creating playful, purposeful learning that supports every child’s development

  • Working closely with TAs, parents, and the wider school team

  • Using continuous provision and observation-led assessment

  • Building strong routines that help little ones feel confident and cared for

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS and solid EYFS knowledge (Reception experience is a bonus!)

  • A warm, creative teaching style with clear expectations

  • An understanding of early childhood development and safeguarding

  • Someone who can turn a storybook into a whole adventure
