Early Years Teacher

Protocol Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a lovely Primary school in Hackney who are looking for an Early Years Teacher to join them in September 2024.

Our Partner school are looking for a motivated, passionate and creative teacher who will be able to make a real lasting impact on their youngest learners.

You will have the support of 2 Nursery Nurses and several TA's throughout the day.

The school believe in a learning through play approach and are looking for someone who shares this ethos.

This is a full-time position and will last for the full academic year.

£188 - £240 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for early years students
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers as necessary
  • Establish a safe and nurturing learning environment for young children
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a holistic educational experience
  • Attend professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with early years students
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in early years settings

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficiency in classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Early Years Education
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily in a classroom setting
  • Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work for school events
  • May involve standing for long periods and some lifting of materials

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
