Early Years Teacher Assistant 

This warm and welcoming school based in Waltham Forest is seeking an Early Years TA. They are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals that can help the teacher run the classroom. The TA must have experience within an Early Years setting. The ideal person will be flexible, confident, and able to work as part of a team.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be able to support the nursery and promote their ethos
  • Support the children in their learning and encourage growth and independence
  • To deal with challenging behaviour in a calm and patient manner
  • Create and follow daily session plans that meet EYFS
  • Build trusting, respectful relationships with children, families, and other team members
  • Offer consistency and reliability
  • Believe that all children deserve equal opportunities and encourage them to exceed expectations
  • Be creative and find different activities that keep the children’s minds stimulated

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
