Level 2/3 Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education are currently working with a Primary School in Westminster who are looking for an Early Years SEN Assistant to join them on a full-time basis ASAP.

You will be working with several children with ASD, some of which may be non-verbal.

Any experience working with PEC's or Makaton would be highly beneficial.

This one-form entry school are based in the heart of the community and any successful applicant will be encouraged to get involved in wider school life.

The school has a strong leadership team, and you can expect support and guidance throughout your placement.

For the strongest candidates, these contracts often lead to permanent employment.

You will:

- Be involved in contributing to the teaching and learning programme in line with the aims and objectives of the school
- Provide activities for children’s learning and support their independence as learners

You must have:
- The commitment to provide first class childcare
- The ability to promote good practice in a professional manner
- Good organisational skills
- A caring, kind, and approachable manner
- An understanding on how children develop and learn
- Ability to use your own initiative to organise activities and tasks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
