Job Description
Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to young children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Assess and track children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents and carers
- Create a safe and stimulating learning environment that promotes the holistic development of each child
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the overall well-being and educational needs of the children
- Maintain accurate records and reports on each child's learning and development
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialist knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Experience working with young children aged 3-5 years
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in an Early Years setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent understanding of child development and learning theories
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of young learners
- Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Early Years Education
- Training in safeguarding and child protection
Working Conditions:
- Full-Time position, working Monday to Friday
- Contract role based in Lewisham, Greater London
