Are you approaching the end of your teaching qualification? Looking for an ECT position for September?

Naturally, you’ll be applying directly to schools for your first teaching role, but have you thought about casting your net a little wider and registering with an Education Recruitment Agency?

At Protocol Education, we have a proven history of placing Early Career teachers (ECTs) in supportive schools, where they can build confidence and thrive in their first teaching role.

We have friendly, experienced consultants across Cambridgeshire, Huntingdon, Peterborough & Suffolk who can reach a wide audience of Head Teachers of individual primary schools and Multi-Academy Trusts on your behalf. We can speak to school decision makers directly and set up taster days as well as interviews to ensure you’re able to fully submerse yourself in the life of the school and gain a good understanding of whether you can imagine yourself being part of the school environment.

Your local Consultant will create an Educator Profile based on your CV and what we find out about you in an informal and friendly conversation. This can take place online if you’re still based at a university location outside of your desired job search radius or in person if this works for you.

Your Consultant will then send your profile out in relation to multiple ECT vacancies on your behalf saving you the time and effort of completing multiple lengthy application forms.

We’ll then support you through the interview process, offering tips and advice on likely interview questions to ensure you’re fully prepped and ready to impress at interview, helping you secure your first teaching role in a school you’ll be happy in.

Our support doesn’t end there, we will continue to be on the end of the line whenever you need us to support you throughout your placement.

Furthermore, if you’re ready to jump straight in at the end of your final placement and are looking for some more exposure and experience while earning some money to make sure you can enjoy your summer break, we can also get you cleared and compliant swiftly so we can offer you supply teaching work in a local primary school during the last few months of this academic year.
