A secondary school in the Sutton in Ashfield area, require a proactive and reliable DT (Design Technology) Technician to support the Technology department. 

The role requires the successful educators to:

  • Prep all wood, metal materials and equipment for the DT lessons in advance
  • Work with the Teachers and support staff to support the lesson when required - including supporting the pupils
  • Ordering materials for the lesson when required
  • Be organised and proactive so lessons run smoothly and all prep is correct and set on time
  • Be a team player by using your own initiative and work with staff accordingly
  • Follow Safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
  • Follow health & safety policies and procedures at all times - including completing and checking risk assessments
  • Attend and complete training when required 

They ae looking for the sucessful educator to work 32.5 hours per week 8am-3/3.30pm term time only, the role is permanent full time but the school may consider part time depending on hours or days suggested. So please apply and mention this in your interveiw.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
