The opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a creative and motivated Design and Technology teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons and inspire students through practical, skills-based learning.

About you

You will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND, pupil premium, looked-after children and high-attaining students

  • Build positive, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families

  • Communicate confidently and embrace change with a flexible mindset

  • Value enrichment opportunities that enhance learning beyond the classroom

  • Be committed to developing your own practice and supporting others

  • Meet the Teachers’ Standards consistently, with sustained impact for students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
