The Role
As Deputy Head of Science, you will play a crucial role in the strategic leadership of the department. You will support the Head of Science in driving teaching standards and ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

Curriculum Leadership: Overseeing the delivery of a specific Key Stage (KS3 or KS4) to ensure a cohesive and challenging learning journey.

Staff Mentorship: Supporting the development of ECTs and experienced teachers through peer observations and shared best practices.

Academic Oversight: Utilizing data to identify gaps in attainment and implementing creative strategies to bridge them.

Candidate Requirements
We are seeking an experienced educator who can "hit the ground running" and inspire confidence from day one.
| Requirement | Essential Criteria |
| Qualifications | QTS / QTLS and a strong academic background in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics). |
| Experience | Proven track record of "Good" or "Outstanding" teaching at KS3 and KS4. |
| Leadership | Experience as a Lead Teacher or Key Stage Coordinator is highly desirable. |
| Availability | Must be available for an immediate start (or very short notice period). |
