The Role

As Deputy Head of Science, you will play a crucial role in the strategic leadership of the department. You will support the Head of Science in driving teaching standards and ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

Your Impact:

• Curriculum Leadership: Overseeing the delivery of a specific Key Stage (KS3 or KS4) to ensure a cohesive and challenging learning journey.

• Staff Mentorship: Supporting the development of ECTs and experienced teachers through peer observations and shared best practices.

• Academic Oversight: Utilizing data to identify gaps in attainment and implementing creative strategies to bridge them.

• High-Level Teaching: Delivering engaging, high-impact lessons across the sciences.
