We are working with a secondary school in South Gloucestershire seeking a Dance Specialist to support their curriculum on a flexible basis. The school is open to both full-time and part-time arrangements and is keen to speak with candidates who bring strong subject knowledge and confidence leading practical, movement-based lessons.
This role is focused on classroom and studio delivery only. There is no planning or marking requirement, making it a strong option for educators looking for flexibility or a better work-life balance.
The role will involve:

Delivering Dance lessons across the secondary age range

Leading practical sessions in line with the school’s schemes of work

Promoting safe practice, engagement, and student confidence

Managing behaviour effectively and consistently

Working alongside department staff where required
The school is keen to hear from:

Qualified teachers with QTS (preferred)

Dance specialists with relevant teaching, coaching, or industry experience

Candidates confident delivering practical and performance-based sessions

Educators available on a full-time or part-time basis
