Position Title: Design & Technology/Art Teacher

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Design & Technology (D&T) and Art for students
- Nurture a supportive and creative learning environment to encourage innovation
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Design & Technology, Art, or a related field
- Experience teaching D&T and/or Art in a secondary school setting

Skills and Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of the national curriculum for D&T and Art
- Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs of students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills for effective lesson planning and management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or a relevant subject area
- Experience with project-based learning and creative teaching methods
- Experience working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
Working Conditions:
This role involves collaborating with students and colleagues in a secondary school environment. Full-time hours are expected, with occasional participation in school events and meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
