SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in a Special Needs School in Croydon, starting immediately. This inclusive school offers the chance to work with students across Early Years, Primary, and Secondary, and provides ongoing training and development throughout your role.
The school is looking for individuals who enjoy working with children of all ages and are passionate about making a positive impact on students’ learning and development. No prior experience is required - commitment, passion, and dedication are the key attributes we value.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work in small class sizes of 6–8 students with special needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties, and complex needs.
- Support students with a tailored curriculum, helping develop speech & language skills, vocabulary, and comprehension using visual resources.
- Assist in core subjects such as numeracy and literacy.
- Participate in creative lessons including art, music, swimming, cooking, K9 therapy, and sensory play.
