Job Duties:

  • Support the primary teacher in implementing creative teaching strategies
  • Assist in preparing and organising classroom activities
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist in assessing and tracking student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Education:

GCSE qualifications in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of creative teaching methods
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Good organisational skills
  • Basic IT skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting under the direction of a primary teacher. The environment may be fast-paced and require flexibility in tasks and responsibilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
