Job Duties:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering creative and engaging lessons
  • Assisting students with their learning activities and projects
  • Helping to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance
  • Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and resources

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with children in an educational environment

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher education qualification in Education or related field
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The working hours are full-time, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will need to undergo a background check and comply with school policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
