Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with classroom teacher to implement effective and engaging teaching methods
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Provide individualised support to students with learning difficulties
  • Create a dynamic and stimulating learning environment
  • Evaluate and assess student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Teaching Assistant Qualification

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiarity with creative teaching techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Effective team player
  • Patience and empathy towards students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment, primarily in a classroom setting. The candidate may need to provide support during regular school hours and participate in school events and activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
