Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Creative Teaching Assistant to join our team in Mitcham, Greater London. This is a temporary position with full-time hours. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons to students.

Job Duties:

  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering creative lesson plans
  • Support students in their learning and development
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour monitoring

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or young people

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Good organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification
