Job Duties:

  • Supporting the lead teacher in delivering creative and engaging lessons
  • Assisting in the planning and preparation of educational materials
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
  • Supervising students during class activities and outings
  • Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working in a school or educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a classroom setting
  • Full-time hours with occasional overtime
  • Potential to work with students with diverse learning needs
