Here at Protocol Education, we are working with a leading primary school that are looking for Teaching Assistants with a creative background to support Special Needs in Primary.

The school believe that every child deserves an inclusive and engaging education. They are a vibrant and diverse primary school nestled in the heart of Islington, dedicated to nurturing the potential of every student, especially those with special needs.

As a Creative Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the school community. They are seeking individuals with a creative flair and a passion for arts, crafts, or drama, who can bring innovative teaching techniques to the classroom. Your primary responsibility will be to support children with special needs, helping them to thrive and reach their full potential through creative and inclusive approaches.

Requirements:

  • A background in arts and crafts or drama is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with special needs children, either personally or professionally.
  • Dedication to the values of inclusion and diversity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to working Monday to Friday from 08:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

The work is expected to start right away in February, if you do have a notice period, please understand that the school are not able to wait and are looking to appoint the most suitable candidate as soon as they can.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
