JOB TITLE: Creative Classroom Assistant

LOCATION: Barking and Dagenham

 

Do you have a creative background such as in sports, dance, art or music? Are you searching for experience in an educational setting?

Protocol Education are looking for Learning Support Assistants to work in our SEN schools and add to an evironment that requires alternate learning activities.

Successful candidates will encourage student development, and engage with them through sensory play & interaction. You will be expected to understand social cues, create an exciting but sensitive learning experience for those that have been diagnosed with special needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties and severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities etc.

These particular schools are looking for Teaching Assistants that can apply their creative skills within Early Years and Primary settings and maintain an engaged and fulfilling learning experience.

You will be expected to:

  • Apply your skills to create a fun and engaging learning experience
  • Support teachers in a sensitive environment
  • Be available between the hours of 8:30 - 3:30pm 
  • Start in January

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
