On behalf of a thriving secondary school located in Leyton, Protocol Education are seeking to appoint a Creative Arts Teacher.

The ideal candidate must be a creative and dynamic practitioner who will be able to contribute to the development of the school.

Applications are welcomed from experienced practitioners or Early Career Teachers with good prospects for career development.

The Design and Technology department provides students with a rich curriculum developing creative skills across Key Stage 3 – Key Stage 5.

Rated as ‘Good’ in their last Ofsted review, this school has strong and distinctive ethos of kindness, strength in diversity and pride in achievement.

 

As a Creative Arts Teacher, you must have:

  • The ability to work in collaboration with other members of staff to develop and manage projects 
  • Exceptional personal organisation and time-management skills
  • The ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing 
  • An understanding of the key national and educational policies and curriculum
  • The ability to inspire high achievement in young people from all backgrounds
  • An excellent record of attendance and punctuality

The Design and Technology department offers:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
