Job Duties:
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students in the absence of the regular teacher
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage student behaviour effectively
- Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and behaviour
- Ensure all teaching materials are used appropriately
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a classroom setting
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to work independently
- IT proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience in delivering lessons across different subjects
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, typically within school hours
- Work in various schools within the Lewisham area
- Interact with students, teachers, and school staff
- Adhere to school policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
